Welcome to the best self guided River Adventure!
You start your leisurely float in BERG im Drautal and end in SACHSENBURG. Exit right side (look out for exit signs). During your scenic float trip you will float thru a pristine, natural landscape. Drau River Rafting is a self-guided rafting tour using standard rafts to spend the day on the river with quiet stretches with picturesque beaches, meadows, mountains and small rapids.
Book your raft online for the section Berg to Sachsenburg. Float time about 3-4 hours (without breaks). We suggest smaller breaks. Please use our river guide map or Google Maps for your river orientation.
There is free Park Ride parking at the BERG IM DRAUTAL and SACHSENBURG MARKT train stations, a 5-10 minute walk from the start or end point. If you arrive by car, it is best to park for free at the train station.
Simply read the entire website, watch the instructional video and start! The self-check-in instructions will be sent to you via email with your booking. You can find the link to the current water level at the end of our website.
Boats can start from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and must be returned by 7:00 p.m. Please carry the boat to the indicated exit location. Please dispose of your own rubbish yourself.
